There is a plaque on the side, but is not readable. In the background is a brick building with an entrance door and a white column. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#2071 5/28/40".
The negative is inserted, along with a print of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "5/28/40 -- Tacoma Cannon (from old Russian gunboat) at State Historical Society Building- -side view". Stamped is "2071" and "indexed".Made/Created
