Description

Jack Ryan of KGY, 1976. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader Newspaper. These nine images show Jack Ryan in a radio control room. Image 14 shows a young man with headphones on and a button up shirt seated at DJ station, he is looking to his right. Image 15 is very similar but he is facing the camera. Image 16 is very similar to the previous two images but he is shown in profile. In image 17 he is holding a telephone handset to his ear. He is facing towards the right hand side of the image. Image 18 is very similar to image 17 but he is facing towards the left hand side of the image. In image 19 he is wearing headphones and facing the camera. The photo is oriented horizontally. In image 20 he is shown in profile wearing headphones and reaching out and manipulating controls with his right hand. Image 21 is nearly identical to image 20. In image 22 he is wearing headphones and is looking over his left shoulder at the camera. These images were created for inclusion with an article concerning Jack Ryan being the newest disc jockey at KGY radio. ("Ryan knows KGY from the inside," Lacey Leader, 9/15/1976) Printed along one edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
