Description

Black and white negative of the ways at Reliable Welding for building a barge. Rails are laid on the ground, some of them on railroad ties. There is a long board running at an angle toward the camera, and a steel framework at the right. In the background at the left is a structure, and at the right is what appears to be a service station. Further back are telephone poles and wires...There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#2179 10/15/40". The negative is inserted, along with a print of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "10/15/40 - Olympia Ways for Building Barge at Reliable Welding Company's plant A" Stamped is "2179" and "indexed".
