Worm Man Jorgenson, 1976. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These image show a man (Ken Jorgenson) with a pitchfork posing for photos next to several containers of dirt which presumably houses worms. Image 28 shows the man kneeling down next to a series of square containers filled with dirt. The man is holding a pitchfork in his right hand. The prong-end of the pitchfork is in the dirt and the handle is sticking upward. This image is oriented vertically. Image 29 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 30 is very similar to the previous two images, but here the image is oriented horizontally. Image 31 shows the man standing and still holding the pitchfork in his right hand. His hand is at the top of the handle. The containers of dirt are not visible in this image. This image is oriented vertically. Image 32 is very similar to the previous image, but here the image is oriented horizontally. Image 33 is very similar to images 28 and 29, but here the photographer has moved to their right slightly. Image 34 is similar to image 33, but here the man is bent over and his head is quite close to the dirt. Image 35 shows the man leaning over one of the dirt containers and looking down into it. He is shown in profile.
These images were captured for inclusion with an article concering Mr. Jorgenson and his wife, Jan, starting a business breeding and raising worms. "Newest cash crop opens can of worms," Lacey Leader, 9/8/1976Made/Created
