Angie Darling, 1976. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a little girl (Angie Darling) posing with a trophy, and what appears to be an opened bound volume of a newspaper. Ms. Darling is wearing a tiara, a formal gown and a sash which reads "Little Miss Majorette" followed by more text which is not visible. She is facing directly toward the camera in all of these images. Image 39 shows Ms. darling posing with the trophy. She is shown from the mid-torso up. Image 40 is very similar to the previous image, but here she is shown from the mid-thigh up. Images 41 and 42 are nearly identical to image 40. Image 43 shows what appears to be a bound volume of a newspaper laying open on a table.
These images were captured for inclusion with an article concerning Angie Darling's winning of a regional baton twirling competition. ("Angie twirls to Northwest title," Lacey Leader, 8/4/1976)
