Description

Big Tom, 1976. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show an Eagan's Big Tom location and a McDonald's location alongside a road. The Eagan's Big Tom building is much smaller than the McDonald's building. Image 10 shows the Eagan's Big Tom and McDonald's restaurants from a considerable distance away. A large patch of grass or gravel is in the foreground, a road beyond that, and the restaurants are on the far side of the road. Image 11 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved closer to both restaurants. The Eagan's Big Tom is centered in the image. Image 12 is very similar to image 11, but here the photographer has again moved closer to the two restaurants. Image 13 is very similar to image 12, but here the photographer has moved to their right by approximately 20 feet. Here the photographer is standing at the edge of the road. Image 14 is very similar to the previous image, but here a car driving past on the road away from the camera is obscuring the Eagan's Big Tom building. Printed in alternation along the bottom edge of this strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
