Olympia High School Junior Class, 1911-1912. This image shows 25 young people (15 women and 10 men) posing together for a group photograph. These people are arranged in four rows, with nine women in the front row (seated), six women in the second row, six men in the third row, and four men in the back row. The women are all wearing long ankle-length dresses with high collars, and some are wearing coats. All of them have their hair worn up or tied back. The men are all wearing suits with ties. They all have their hair either parted to the side or combed back. These people are, starting from the back row, left to right: John Van Edtin (may be Van Eaton or another similar name), Irving Miller, Ward McKinney, Albert Van Eaton; 3rd row: Harry French, Howard Ray, Jesse Levenick, Jack Claypool, Muir Fairchild, Roy Johnson; 2nd row: Lucille McReynolds, Ruth Holmes, Ruth Fitzgerald, Pearl Whidden, Florence Hopkins, Bernice Chipman; Front row: Helen Roberson, Ida Blake, Edwina Lloyd, Georgia Bell, Bonnie Van Eaton, Vivien Hindley, Faith Yantis, Lacey Jones and Eldon Dille. These people are on the exterior steps of a building. These steps lead up to a double door. Each of these double doors has a large pane of glass set within a wooden frame. There is one window at either side of the double door. At either side of the door are walls constructed of large stone blocks.
The reverse side of this photograph shows that it was produced as a postcard. Printed along one of the long edges is "POST CARD" with "CORRESPONDENCE" and "NAME AND ADDRESS" printed below. Printed in the corner to the right of this text is "PLACE POSTAGE STAMP HERE" with a small, curly design element at the center.
