Description

Black and white negative of an oil barge built by Reliable Welding just after launching. In the foreground is a portion of a railroad track disappearing into a body of water. In the center of the image is the silhouette of the barge and two tug boats chasing it. In the background is the dome of the Legislative Building. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#2204 3/16/41" The negative is inserted, along with a print of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "3/16/41 - Olympia The tugs chasing the barge which under impetus from the launching is headed for the Capitol". Stamped is "2204" and "indexed".
