Description

Interstate 5 Widening, 1976. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show roads. Image 15 shows an off-ramp leading toward an Eagan's Big Tom and a McDonald's. These restaurants are located on Sleater-Kinney Road. Image 16 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved toward their right by approximately ten feet. Image 17 is again similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has again moved toward their right by 10-15 feet. The photographer is now standing along the edge of the off-ramp. A sign shows that Sleater-Kinney Road is to the left and South Sound Boulevard is to the right. Image 28 shows a road with an off-ramp connecting to it from the left. One do not enter sign is on either side of the off-ramp. Image 20 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 21 shows a road leading to an overpass. Images 22-24 show the overpass.
