Description

Mini-Bike Girls, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show women riding small dirt bikes, and portrait photos of a woman. Image 13 shows a woman riding a dirt bike. She is riding toward the right-hand side of the image frame. There is a fence and several trees in the background. Image 14 shows three women sitting on dirt bikes and a fourth woman wearing riding gear standing and looking at her wristwatch. Image 15 is very similar to the previous image, but here the standing woman has her hands on her hips. Image 16 shows a woman riding a dirt bike toward the camera. Image 17 is very similar to the previous image, but here the woman is turned more toward the left-hand side of the image. Image 18 is very similar to the previous image, but here two other people are visible riding dirt bikes in the far background near the left-hand edge of the image. Image 19 is similar to the previous image, but here the riders in the background are in the right-hand half of the image. Image 20 shows a blurry shot of grass. Image 21 is very similar to image 18. Image 22 shows a woman with slightly wavy hair wearing a sweater posing for a portrait-style photo. Image 23 is nearly identical to the previous image. Printed in alternation along the bottom long edge of both of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
