The six women are standing in a row, and the girl is standing in front of them and looking up toward the women's faces. The women are, from left to right: Mrs. Judd Greenman, "Grandma" Lawes, Anna Holmes, Mrs. Hagy (questionable), Mrs. Ball (questionable), and Mrs. Lawes. The girl is Mary Louise Hamilton. A short staircase is visible to the right of the women. A column is visible at the top of the stairs. A two-storey home is visible in the background. Written in pen along the top edge of the back side of this photo is "Union Mills." The number 9 is stamped below "Union Mills."
