Description

Lydia Hawk Elementary School "Bizarre," 1977. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show four children (two girls and two boys) holding toys and posing next to a sign which reads "COME TO THE 'BIZARRE'." The sign goes on to advertise a spaghetti dinner and games, and to state that the event is on "SAT. DEC. 3." The children are holding, clockwise left to right: stuffed animals, a hobby horse, a metal stand with small puffy items hanging off, and more stuffed animals. Images 41-44 are all nearly identical. Printed at intervals along the top edge of this strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
