Saint John's Episcopal Church, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a young woman posing for portrait-style photos, and one woman helping another woman try on hats.
Image 19 shows a young woman posing for a portrait-style photo. The young woman has chin-length, wavy hair and is wearing a sweater vest over a collared shirt. She is turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image. She is smiling. Image 20 is very similar to the previous image, but here the young woman is turned partially toward the right-hand side of the image. Image 21 is very similar to the previous image, but here she is looking toward the camera. Image 22 shows a standing woman placing a wig, fur hat or feathered hat on the head of a seated woman. The seated woman is sitting at a table covered in hats. The seated woman is smiling. Image 23 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 24 is very similar to the previous two images, but here both of the women are looking toward the camera. Image 25 shows both of the women seated at the table and both holding hats. The woman on the left is looking toward the camera, and the woman on the right is looking down toward the hat in her hands. Image 26 shows both women seated at the table and holding hats up for the camera. Both women are looking toward the camera. Image 27 shows both women wearing hats.
