City People, 1975. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show City of Lacey employees working in the Lacey City Hall.
Image 42 shows a woman seated at a desk with her face covered with her left hand. She is wearing a cardigan or perhaps a light blazer. The image is slightly blurry. Image 43 shows the same woman looking down at her desk, but here her face is not covered. Here the name "Cheryl" can be seen on a small placard on the front-center portion of the desk. Image 44 shows the woman facing toward the camera, but looking downward. Image 1 shows the woman facing the camera and looking off toward the right of the camera. Image 2 shows a man seated at a desk resting his head on his left hand. This man has sideburns and is wearing a tie and a short-sleeved, collared shirt. This man is looking down toward his desk. Image 3 shows the woman seen in images 42-44 again looking down at her desk. Image 4 shows a man standing in a hallway. He is wearing glasses and a cardigan and is bald. He is looking toward the camera. Image 5 shows the same man seated and looking toward the camera. Image 6 shows a person with medium-length hair wearing glasses and a sweater over a collared shirt standing in an office. They are looking toward the camera. Image 7 shows the person from the previous image at the left-hand edge of the image. They are looking toward a woman with medium-length hair seated at a desk with a large electric typewriter in front of her. Image 8 shows a woman (Mary Ann Kirkby) wearing a light sweater over a collared shirt sitting behind a desk. She is looking toward the camera and has a large smile on her face. Her left hand is lifted up toward her chin. Image 9 is very similar to the previous image, but here the woman is only barely smiling and appears to be listening to the photographer speak. Her name can be seen on a name placard near the lower-right corner of the image. Image 10 shows a woman with long hair wearing a cardigan over a polka-dotted shirt. She is standing in an office. She is looking toward the camera and smiling. She may also be speaking.
Printed in alternation along one long edge of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
