Description

11 digital photographs of the Bowker House, 915 Bowker Street, in Lacey from various angles. Images 1, 2 and 6 are looking southwest, images 3 and 4 are looking south, image 5 is looking southeast, image 7 is looking west, image 8, 9, 10 and 11 are looking north. The Bowker House was added to the Lacey Register of Historic Places in 1991. It is a Vernacular style house with a steeply gabled roof and sits on a post and pier foundation. The so-called "I House" was popular in the Midwest and is typified by being one-room deep and having the entrance on the long end.
