Description

Fire Prevention Queen, 1974. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man in a suit and tie placing a tiara on a young woman's head, and also the man and young woman standing next to each other. Image 28 shows the man in the suit and tie placing the tiara on the young woman's head. The young woman at left and is looking toward the camera, and is shown from the shoulders up. The man is taller and shown from the mid-torso up. He is at right. This image is oriented horizontally. The man is looking toward the tiara. Image 29 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man is looking toward the camera. Image 30 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 31 shows the man and young woman standing next to each other. Both are looking toward the camera, and neither are smiling. A sash which reads "FIRE QUEEN" is worn over the young woman's shoulder. Image 32 is very similar to the previous image, but here both people are smiling. Printed along one of this strip's long edges is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
