Lakefair Princess Geni Gylys, 1979. These four black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a young woman (Geni Gylys) posing individually for photos in a garden or back yard. Ms. Gylys is wearing a floral-print blouse and long skirt.
Image 26 shows Ms. Gylys seated on a deck rail. A yard and leafing tree branches make up the background. This images is oriented vertically. Images 27 and 28 are very similar to the previous image, but here the image is oriented horizontally. Image 29 is very similar to images 27 and 28, but here the photographer has zoomed in on or moved closer to Ms. Gylys. Image 30 is nearly identical to the previous image. Images 31-33 and 35 are nearly identical to image 26. Image 34 is blank. Image 36 shows Ms. Gylys standing in a fenced area of the yard with an elevated deck partially visible behind her and to the left. Images 37 through 41 are nearly identical to image 36. Image 42 shows Ms. Gylys seated on what appears to be a short, concrete wall adjacent to the fenced area seen in the previous images. Images 43 and 44 are nearly identical to image 42.
