Description

Roadside Litter Control, 1977. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two people in vests and helmets picking up roadside litter. Image 36 shows the two people picking litter out of overgrown grass alongside a sidewalk. Images 37 through 40 are very similar to image 36. Image 41 is similar to the previous images, but here the photographer has moved farther away from the two people. Image 42 is nearly identical to the previous image. Images 43 and 44 both show the two people still picking up litter, but here the photographer is standing across the road from the two people. Cars are driving past between the photographer and the two people picking up litter. Printed along one of the long edges of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
