Description

Legion Way, looking northwest in downtown Olympia about 1919. Yellow-toned black and white photograph features the newly built Hotel Olympian in the center of the photograph with an American Flag at the top. At right is the Reed Building and farther down the block is the Stuart Hotel Building. There are early model cars parked along the unpaved roads. At lower left, the edge of Sylvester Park and its trees and parthways are visible. On the back of the image are black paper and adhesive residue suggesting this photographs removal from an album. At top in pencil is written: "#633 #2337" and in blue ink: "Olympian Hotel soon after it was built."
