Description

Skateboard Park 5-8-1979. These five black and white film contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. They depict several individuals on skateboards and wearing helmets and pads. All of the images are inside the park, most are taken of people in the act of skateboarding in the bowls of the park. Images 21 and 25 are of two people posing against the wall of metal garage doors. The bowls of the park can be seen in the back ground. Images 34-36 and 42 are of an individual in a flowery, Hawaiian-style shirt, skating and performing tricks in one of the bowls of the park. Images 37-40, 43-44, and 1, 5-10 are of several individuals in similar attire of tee-shirts and shorts each skating and performing tricks in the bowls of the park. Images 2-4 are of an individual skating and performing tricks in one of the park's bowls with people lined up along the wall in the background. Images 22-24, and 41 are blank.
