Description

Skateboard Park 5-8-1979. These seven strips of black and white negatives were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. They depict individuals wearing helmets and pads, skateboarding and performing tricks in the bowls of the park; and one group of people posing. Images 26-34 are of an individual skating and performing tricks in the bowls of the park. Images 35-41 are of a group of four people posed together. Two adults stand next to each other with two children standing in front of them. The child on the right holds their skateboard vertically in front of them. Another skateboard is on the ground in front of the children. A dog is sitting on the skateboard in all but Images 37 and 38. Images 32-42 are of an individual skateboarding and performing tricks in the bowls of the park. The walls, and ceiling are visible in the background. Images 36-43 are of an individual skateboarding and performing tricks in the bowls of the park. Printed at intervals along one long edge of each of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
