Description

Cub Scout Pack 218 Planting Trees, Unknown Date. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show people (mostly children) planting trees and posing for group photos. These images were captured outside of Evergreen Forest Elementary. Image 23 shows a woman and two boys crouching down to finish planting a tree. Image 24 shows a fairly large group of people planting trees alongside a road. Image 25 shows a small group of children planting a tree. Image 26 shows three boys planting a tree. Image 27 is effectively identical to the previous image. Image 28 shows one woman and fur boys watching a fifth boy plant a tree. Images 29 through 31 shows a group photo consisting of approximately sixteen children and four women posing for a group photo. There is a small, potted evergreen tree at the center of the group. The school is visible in the background. Printed at intervals along one long edge of each of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
