Description

New Lacey Park Addition (20 Acres), 02-1973. These four black and white negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. They depict various parts of the woods and trails in the park. Image 1 shows a square wooden fence next to some water. Image 2 is of a pair of signs on the same post. The top sign reads "Land and Water Conservation USA Project", the bottom sign reads "Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation". Images 3, 5-6, 12, 15 feature walking paths through the trees. Images 4, 7, 14, 16, 21-22, 25 feature shots of the trees and brush with no particular focal point. Image 9 are of three individuals standing in the forest. Image 10-11 feature a grassy field backed by pine trees. Images 8, 17-19, 23-24 feature individual trees or tree groupings. Image 20 is of a group of ferns. Printed at intervals along the edge of the strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM".
