General Scenes, Unknown Dates. These five black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a wide variety of outdoor scenes.
Image 36 shows a sign alongside a road. The main part of the sign reads "ORV SPORTS PARK." A densely-forested area with hills makes up the background. Image 37 shows a large barn on the left-hand side of the image, a silo just to the right of the barn, and a shed farther toward the right-hand side of the image. Image 38 shows a blurry shot of three to four buildings, and three signs (Texaco, Shell, and Century 21). Image 39 shows a barn and a silo in the distance. These two structures are at the bottom-center of the image. Image 40 shows some forested hills in the far distance. Image 41 shows a large industrial plant with several smokestacks. Images 42 and 43 are nearly identical to the previous image. Image 44 shows a close-up of some barbed wire. The smokestacks from the plant visible in the previous image are partially visible at the bottom of this image. Image 1 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 2 shows a mannequin and several large photographs in a display window. Images 3 and 4 are nearly identical to the previous image. Image 5 shows several nautical floats of various shapes and sizes hanging from a rope. Image 6 shows a rocky shoreline. Image 7 is effectively identical to the previous image. Images 8 and 9 show a seagull in flight. Image 10 shows a seagull flying over a shoreline. Images 11 and 12 show a close-up of many glass insulators. Images 13 and 14 show a bridge over a river. Image 15 shows an unknown person's face. The person has shoulder-length hair and their eyes are closed. Image 16 shows the side-view mirrors of a vehicle.
