Unknown Event, Unknown Date. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a small crowd gathered near a wheeled object and several people standing on the porch of the Lacey Museum.
Image 3 shows s small crowd gathered along the edge of a lawn. On the lawn is one set of wheels (similar to wagon wheels) attached to what appears to be a set f handles. An American flag is visible at the left-hand edge of the image. A small coach with "The Royal Coach" printed on the side is visible in the background. Father John Scott is visible at the left-hand end of the crowd. Image 4 shows Karen Fraser, Ken Balsley, and three unknown people standing on the porch of the Lacey Museum. Ms. Fraser is at the far right and is speaking into a microphone set up on top of a small desk. Image 5 shows Father John Scott speaking into the microphone. Ken Balsley is visible at the left-hand side of the image. Image 6 shows an unknown man speaking into the microphone. Ken Balsley is again visible at left, as is another unknown man. Image 7 shows Ken Balsley at center holding up what appears to be a platter. A woman to each side of Mr. Balsley are also holding onto the platter.Made/Created
