Lacey Daisy Square Dance Club, 1973. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show people participating in a square dancing event. Image 7 shows a man and woman dancing together. Image 8 shows a man speaking into a microphone. Image 9 shows a man and a woman standing next to each other. Image 10 shows people standing in two parallel rows. Image 11 shows two parallel rows of people with their hands joined above their heads. A woman is passing through the "tunnel" created by the people's joined hands. Images 12 through 14 show many couples dancing. Image 15 shows a man speaking into a microphone. Image 16 shows many people facing away from the camera. Image 17 shows couples dancing. Image 18 shows a long table with various foods laid out on it. Image 20 shows a man dispensing coffee from a large, party-sized coffee pot. Image 21 shows a man and woman standing next to each other. The Lacey Daisy Square Dance Club was a local group of square dance enthusiasts which held regular square dancing events. ("Square dancing fun for all ages," Olympian, 12/8/1998) Printed in alternation along one long edge of each of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
