Snow Sculptures, 1974. These five black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show several different snow sculptures, and people building said sculptures.
Image 19 shows two people sculpting a bodybuilder out of snow. Images 20 and 21 are very similar to image 19. Images 22 and 23 show an elephant sculpted from snow. Image 34 shows approximately 12 people working on a snow sculpture with an indistinct shape. Image 35 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved enough to show that the sculpture is a dinosaur. Image 36 is blank. Image 37 shows a snowy yard or small field with trees in the background and two small buildings on the left-hand side of the image. Images 38 and 39 show the dinosaur snow sculpture. Image 40 shows a snow sculpture on what appears to be a head. Images 41 and 42 show snow sculptures of which the intended shape cannot be determined. Image 43 shows a sno sculpture of an anthropomorphic rabbit with one arm akimbo and one with a raised fist. Images 44,1-3 show a snow sculpture of what appears to be a gnome. Image 4 shows an igloo. Image 5 shows a snow sculpture of what appears to be a dog or other animal and two people. Image 6 shows the same igloo seen in image 4. Images 7 and 8 show five children standing around a pile of snow. Image 9 shows people playing in the snow.
