Description

Wes Barclift, Geno and Steve Fasano, 1979. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using three separate film rolls, so some of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated. For the purposes of this description, these strips will be grouped according to the film roll from which they originally came. Each group will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show Wes Barclift, and an unknown man seated at a table. Images 38a through 40a show Wes Barclift posing for photos. Images 41a and 42a show an unknown man seated at a table and writing on a piece of paper. The images in group "b" show two men traveling down a flooded street in a small boat. These men are presumably Geno and Steve Fasano. Images 37b and 38b show both men in the boat. Ducks are swimming near the boat. A Baskin-Robbins ice cream parlor is visible in the background. Image 39b shows one of the two men standing in several inches of water and handing an ice cream cone to the other man, who is still in the boat. Image 40b is nearly identical to the previous image. The images in group "c" show a wooded area. Images 18c and 19c show a wooded area.
