Coloring Contest Winners, 1979. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two children, each one holding up very similar versions of an illustration. These two children are likely the winners of one of the coloring contests put on by the Lacey Leader newspaper.
Image 27 shows two male children, each seated on a stool. Each is also holding up an approximately 24"x18" illustration of a bird seated amongst flowers. The boy on the left appears several years older tan the boy on the right. Images 28 through 37 are nearly identical to image 27.
Printed at intervals along the top edge of both of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."Made/Created
