Description

Dancers and Bagpipe Player, 1973. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show children performing Irish dances, someone playing a set of bagpipes and a woman performing a dance. These images may show performances at one of the MAD Festivals or a similar event. Image 33 shows the children performing an Irish dance. Images 34 through 37 also show the same children dancing. Image 38 shows someone playing a set of bagpipes. Image 39 shows a young woman performing what may be a ballet dance routine. A pageant queen and two similarly dressed young women are visible in the background. Printed in alternation along one long edge of both of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
