Road Construction, 1978. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show road construction.
Image 23 shows a heavy-duty dump truck and a piece of heavy equipment similar to a bulldozer, both only partially within the photo, in the foreground. Through the space between these two vehicles, three men are visible. Image 24 is very similar to the previous image, but here only two men are visible between the vehicles. Image 25 shows three people in hardhats standing in the middle of a road under construction, they are facing away from the camera and toward bulldozers tearing up the street. Image 26 shows the torn up street. Image 27 shows the torn-up street from closer-up than the previous image.Made/Created
