Description

Students at Library, 1973. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a group of small children and several adults at a library. Images 6 and 7 show a man in a jacket standing with his hands clasped in front of him. Image 8 shows a woman holding a stuffed giraffe in front of a group of seated children. Image 9 shows one man and three women standing along a row of bookshelves in the library. Image 10 is similar to the previous image, but here only two women and one man are visible. Image 11 shows only the man standing next to the bookshelves. Image 12 shows the woman holding the stuffed giraffe and some of the children seated on the floor. Images 13 and 14 show very similar scenes to image 12. Image 15 shows a cardboard cage with illustrations of caged animals on it. Images 16 through 21 show the woman previously holding the stuffed giraffe reading a story to the children. Printed in alternation along one long edge of each of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
