Ken Balsley, 05-02-1979. These four black and white negative prints were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Ken was working for Don Whitman owner of KITN radio for $900 a month as news editor. KITN had its studios on Sixth Avenue in Lacey next to the current Transit Center.
These images show Ken sitting at a desk/work station. Around him are various equipment used by radio stations. There is a microphone in front of him. He is holding and reading documents in his hands and from a document stand. In some of the images he is wearing headphones.
