John H. Turner, Christmas 1960 at home. Color 3.5" x 3.5" photographic print has a wide white border. Photograph has discolored to have reddish cast. Picture shows the interior of the Henry W. and Evelyn E. Turner residence at 5820 Pacific Avenue. The house was attached to the Black Cat Nursery, which the Turners owned. John, age 12, is sitting on the floor in front a Christmas tree covered in silver tinsel and multicolored balls. An orange and white tabby cat sits on his lap. He is wearing white printed pajamas. At left is an armed chair, a china cabinet and a floor lamp. At right is a cabinet TV with a lamp and statuette on top. The beige drapes are open. The carpet is gray or green and a floral rug is at left.Made/Created
