Wyatt Thornton, Grace Jones, and Emmett Thornton in front of an early automobile, c. late 1920s. Black and white 3.75" x 4.25" photomechanical print. Behind the presumably black automobile are a stand of fir trees. In the background at right is a cabin. Wyatt, at left, is wearing slacks and a button down shirt and has his hands in the pockets. Grace is wearing a patterned straight line dress with flounces at the bottom. Her arms are linked into the men's arms. Emmett is wearing slacks and a V-neck sweater. His hands are on his hips. According to the donor all the images in this donation were taken in the late 1920s and pertain to Lake St Clair. Grace Jones married Wyatt Thornton in 1934 and Emmett is Wyatt's father.
