Description

A woman and a child sitting on the steps of a store at Lake St. Clair, c. late 1920s. Black and white 3.5" x 6" photomechanical print. The woman is sitting on the top step with her legs crossed, looking at the child to her right. She is wearing a short plaid dress with short sleeves and a wide collar, and dark colored mary jane shoes. The child is maybe 2 or 3, blond, is wearing shorts and a tank top, and is sitting on the top step. Behind them is a storefront with a sign "Store Supplies." According to the donor all the images in this donation were taken in the late 1920s and pertain to Lake St Clair.
