Nurse Marguerite Bittmann, c. 1940s. 2.5" x 4.5" black and white photographic print is of a middle-aged woman in a nurse's uniform standing outside of her home at 1224 Thomas Street in Olympia. She is wearing a long white dress with long sleeves, a white nurse's cap and white tights. Behind her is a garden and the house. Marguerite Herman was born in Lacey and graduated from St. Peter School of Nursing in 1929. She was a surgical nurse at St. Peter Hospital. She married Clarence Bittmann in 1931. They were living at 1224 Thomas by 1940.
