Description

Kids, unknown dates. These 18 black and white negative film strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. They depict several different events featuring numerous people. Images 1a-20a, 1b-20b are from a large event. Notable features of these images are large groups of children sitting on the floor, a sock puppet show, and a table with drinks and a cake which reads "KAPUKI". Images 20c-38c are of four Girl Scouts in their uniforms. They are posed in several different positions amongst some rocks and trees. Images 6d-20d are interior images of an empty super market. Two men are depicted in three images. Writing on the windows reads "Coming soon Lacey IGA". Images 20e-33e are of a wedding ceremony inside of a church. Images 9f-12f are of two people posed next to a large mailbox which reads "Santa's Mail Beta Theta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi". Printed at intervals along the edges of the strips are "KODAK SAFETY FILM", "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM, and "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063".
