2007-012.A619N; Unidentified. Negatives from several different years, some of which can be dated by the markings on the backs of the related photos. 9-15-73: four photos, one strip (#17-20). Pictures of a shopkeeper in what appears to be a grocery store. Kodak Safety Film and Kodak Tri X Pan Film. 5-29-75: 6 photos; one strip (#18-23). Three portrait photos and three involving a presentation of what appears to be a check (two women and one man). Mostly photos that appear related to preparing for the opening of an agricultural fair, possibly the Thurston County Fair. Another shows a sign "Lacey Village" in a shop saying "john's Plumbing", a barber shop next to a jeweler's shop (the sign above the latter reads, in part, "H. Aguilar. F."; the respective addresses over the doors are 4506 and 4508. Another shows the Ace Fire Safety & Alarm store at 4420. Two photos show the sign and door for Top Flite World Travel. Another shows the building housing "Karate -Northwest Taekwon-Do Assn." and "Virginia Woods Studio of Dance". One photo shows a store window full of signs advertising sales on various household goods. Three photos are taken of a sign saying "Signs" on top of a car (possibly the theme for this set of photos). Another photo shows the storefront of Oskar's Delicatessen and one shows the Pietro's Gold Coast Pizza restaurant. One shows the sign for Albertson's and another the sign for "A Child's Place (Toys)". Finally, two pictures show the sign for Diamond International, a lumber and building materials store. There is some form of presentation in which three young men are seated and flanked by six "princesses" wearing banners such as "Miss Sound Me....", "Miss Seattle Trust and Loan", "Miss Eve....", "Miss Lacey...." Two signs in the front (#8-10) say this is the 1980 Home of the Year and that it was constructed by Childress Corporation (a general contractor). The second sign further identifies Tri-Born Inc. as the contractor, Eveergreen Savings and Loan as providing the financing, M.S. James III as the architect and B&R Sales as providing the interior furnishings; a small sign indicates Planteria Landscaping as the landscape provider. #18-27 show the kitchen, dining and a bathroom area of a house; a woman is shown in three of these photos.
