These two contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader Newspaper. They showcase the Panorama City retirement Community's flower and rock show. Featured in these prints are people enjoying arrangements of cut flowers, rocks and gems, and wooden cups/bowls. Frame 3, a bald man center frame is wearing a patterned button-up shirt with a bolo-tie. His shirt has a ribbon on it and he is wearing glasses. He is facing the right of the frame. An elderly woman is facing left in the right of the frame she is wearing glasses and a patterned shirt. In front of the man are boxes full of rocks and geodes. In the left frame is a large broad-leaved house plant. Frame 4, in the middle of the frame is a table covered in boxes and rocks. Two pairs of people are separately talking to each other in the frame. The pair on the right has the lam from frame 3 (left) and an elderly woman (right) she is wearing a patterned short sleeved shirt and carrying a crocheted circular purse. She is pointing to something on the table. The left pair is two women. They both are wearing a ribbon on their chests. They both wear glasses. The woman on the right is wearing brow-line style glasses, a floral print dress and holding a bracelet. In front of here are many pieces of jewelry. The woman on the left is looking at the bracelet in the other woman's hand. Behind them is a brick wall. Frame 5 an elderly person wearing a short sleeved Japanese style print, short sleeved shirt is looking at a large rectangular wooden cabinet full of cups and bowls. They could be carved of either wood or stone. Frame 6 a group of two women (left) and one man stand in the left of the frame. The woman on the left is wearing glasses and a light colored polo, the woman to her right is wearing a trench coat and you can only see her back. The man (right) of the group of three is wearing a dark laid patterned western style suit jacket and a bolo tie, he is holding a broad brimmed hat in his hand. To their right is a table covered with boxes of items and a pile of bolo ties. Behind them are a group of people gathered around the table. The curtains on the right of the frame are drawn. Frame 7 several people are milling around a room. The rectangular cabinet from frame 5 can be seen in the background. Two women are sitting at a table in the middle of the frame and are both drinking from cups, the cups are lifted to their mouths. Frame 8, a man wearing a light colored cardigan with dark buttons and a dark under shirt stands in front of a large rectangular display case. To his right is a man in a suit and glasses looking in his general direction. Frame 15, parallel rows of tables are covered in flower displays, many elderly women are surrounding the displays and closely inspecting them. An elderly man wearing a dark suit, glasses, and a diagonally striped tie is center frame. In the background are two large windows with flowing curtains surrounding them. Frame 16, A row of folding tables covered in table cloths and littered with flower arrangements is in the foreground of the photo. There are many people in the photo, all except for one of them are standing on the right side and the end of the table. Windows can be seen on the right side of the frame with a valance above containing 3 pleated swags. Frame 17, a table covered in flower arrangements is in the center foreground. The arrangements are so tightly grouped that the table top is barely visible. A group of three women can be seen on the right side of the table, closest to the camera. The woman in the middle is bent over and smelling the flowers. The closest woman in the group is wearing an unbuttoned cardigan over a vertically striped polo shirt. She is wearing dark slacks with a firm crease ironed into each leg. The woman in the rear of the group of 3 appears to be scowling. She is wearing brow line eyeglasses. 9 other people can be seen in the frame, the majority of them are elderly women standing around the tables, observing the flowers. Three windows can be seen on the left side of the frame with pleated valances above them. The frame has a large white spot at its bottom. Frame 18, is a very light print. The shot is rather blurry and most of the depth of field is out of focus. The poor focus makes features of the frame hard to identify. There are two rows of tables in this photo with flower displays on them. Partitions behind the flowers allow for two rows of flowers on each table. A man with a dark suit can be seen in the far left of the frame looking away from the camera and down at the flower displays. Frame 19, many flower displays can be seen in this photo. Roses can be seen on the display closest to the camera with 5 elderly people surrounding them. Geranium and other flowers (coleus?) are visible on the left background of the frame. A Canadian and American flag are in the right background, to the left of the flag is a man wearing a sweater with a strange symbol on the back that looks like an upside down trident with a zigzagging handle. Frame 20, on the left of the frame are what look like different types of house plants on a table. Behind their left side are 3 windows. In the middle of the frame is an elderly man who is out of focus, he is bald and wearing thick rimmed glasses. He is wearing a lightly colored plaid button up shirt and a dark unbuttoned cardigan. Behind his right side stands two elderly women, one wearing a dark polka dot dress and another wearing a lightly colored cardigan over her lightly colored dress.Made/Created
