These 2 negative strips were made for the Lacey Leader Newspaper. Featured in these photos are 2 scenes. One is a set of photos of a woman handing a business certificate to a young man (Sam Reed) for a license renewal agency at McKinney Appliance 6723 Martin Way. The other set of photos features Sam Reed and a man described as Garry, standing in front of a large desk, containing a built in monitor. Frames 15, 16, 17, and 18 are all nearly identical photos of Sam Reed in the bottom left of the frame and a man named Greg behind him on the right. Frame 18 is different from the rest because Sam Reed is smiling. Sam is holding a booklet of papers in his left hand and gesturing with the same hand toward the monitor in front of him. Sam is wearing a nametag on a long sleeve button up shirt and dark slacks. To his right Garry is looking downward toward the monitor in front of him. His left hand is on the desk. He has a beard and is wearing a jacket over a button up shit, with a polka dot bowtie. It appears that he may be wearing bell bottom pants. Frame 17 and 18 Sam Reed (left) and Ronalee Mattern (right) are standing in front of a wooden desk and both holding a certificate of appointment from the Washington State Department of Licensing for Ronalee K Mattern (not Matten as is written on in the title). The pair are both facing slightly inward toward each other and looking in the direction of the camera. There are two Washington State license plates below the certificate that the pair is holding the first license plate (left) reads "TT6405" and the second reads "JEF615". To the left of the two people are several stamps and to the right are boxes of RCA antennas. Frames 19, 20, and 21 are identical photos that are very similar to frames 17 and 18, except that the pair are shaking hands while looking at each other, instead of the camera.
