One of the trucks has the painted inscription "Dist. No. 3 Lacey Fire Dept." on its doors and "L.F.D. 35 (or 38)" on its front. The other truck is a boom and ladder truck parked to the rear and perpendicular of the Lacey FD truck; the boom has the inscription "Mercer Island F.D." on it.Context
