Japanese-government issued Philippine currency: Fifty centavos. 1942, first issue. Marked. PI. Possible forgery.
Context
This currency is also known as Japanese invasion money, or Mickey Mouse money. The bills were, at times, counterfeited, used as propaganda leaflets, and towards the end of the war, became hyperinflated.
Some forged fifty centavo notes were made with the PI block letter code.
