Description

In 360 pages is the story of southern Puget Sound, where major events of Washington's history took place, and of Tacoma, the area's principal city. Drawing upon the original journals and reports, Morgan tells his story largely in terms of individuals, interweaving portraits of well-known historical figures with those who are more obscure but who have a special significance. On the page opposite the in inside of the front cover is written in black ink, "R.M. Robinson 10628 Robbers Roost Edmonds, Washington 98020 December 28, 1979". The book was apparently sold for $12.95 Hardbound with a paper fold-over cover. The cover is a blue tinted image titled "View of Tacoma, 1884". The front cover has the title at the bottom and the author's name at the top. The spine also has the title and the author's name and the state of publication at the bottom. The back is just a continuation of the picture with a sticker from the University Book Store with the price of the book.
