Description

First published in 1935 under title: John McLoughlin: Patriarch of the Northwest. It is 302 pages. Part biography, its also offers background of early Oregon Country events. Hardbound in red with a paper wrap around cover. The majority of the cover is red with a blue stripe at the bottom with a thinner white strip seperating it from the red. The front cover has the title at the top and the author's name at the bottom in the blue section. There are three images, one of McLoughlin, one of a settler and native American engaging in fur trade, and one of settlers in a canoe. The spine has the title and the last name of the author with the publisher name at the bottom in the blue section. The back cover is a pink color with a list of books about McLoughlin and his era.
