The book has text and photos of places and people in the municipality of Kirchhain, Germany. The book was a gift to North Thurston High School after a student exchange program.
Hard-bound book with beige-colored cloth cover measuring 7 x 9.25 x .75". On the front of the cover and on the spine of the book in red ink is an image of a knight with horns and a "K" inside and the words "Kirchhain in Wort und Bild" which translates to English as "Kirchhain in words and pictures". Inside, after the first fly page, a paper has been attached that reads "Zur Erinnerung an die Erstbegegnung im Schuleraustausch der Gesamtschule Kirshhain und der North Thurston High School, Lacey, WA vom 15. Oktober bis 6. November 1992 mit allen guten Wunschen Magistrat der Stadt Kirchhain [a signature] Burgermeister" and a stamp in blue ink that says "Stadt Kirchhain Lndkreis Marburg-Biedenkopf".
