Description

This book was intended for use in schools with the purpose of improving the "rhetorical" abilities of boys from ages 6 to 15. The book consists of 128 pages of short pieces of dialogue and monologues in the format of a play script. This is one of many books of recitations that the author has written. On the front cover at the top, written in pencil is "Peterson" with a line through it. (A piece of the cover has been torn away so there is a gap where the r should be.) Directly below that is written in pencil, "Fleetwood". 7" x 4.75" x 0.5" On the front cover in orange is the title, the publisher, and a depiction of two boys in matching uniforms, with a depiction of the comedy/tragedy masks up and to the right of them. The spine had the title and a price listed at 35 cents. The back cover has a list of other works by the publisher.
