Inside the front cover are 14 student names including" Mary H. Zindt" and "Wm. F Zindt" Written along side all of the names are cities, presumably where the student lived at the time. The only two cities listed are "Union Mills", and "Nisqually". There are two additional names written on the opposite page. One of the students also added the year "1923", though this is likely not the last student to use the book.
The reverse of the page and the opposing page to that have three doodles of faces.
On the second title page is written "Property of Mary Ellen Zindt", "Box 161", "Nisqually Wash.", "Seventh Grade," "McAllister School", "District No. 75".
Written upside down on the page opposite the last page of the "Notes to Teacher" section is "Upside down & at the end I simply sign myself", "Your friend", followed by a list of 13 names.
Written upside down on the page opposite the back cover is "Emil J. Zindt", "Olympia High School", "Olympia Washington".
On the inside of the back cover is written "Edith L. Easton", "Nisqually Wn.", "Mary H. Zindt", "Nisqually Wash.", "Box 161".

The front cover had the title and authors with floral boarders. There is an ink stain on the top right corner of the cover which extend along the page edges.
The spine has the title authors and publisher.
