Five pictures of Darwin Peterson, Manager of the Lacey Pay-N-Save store, seated at desk. He is wearing a coat and tie, with a badge bearing his name and title on his right chest and the Pay-N-Save logo on his left side.

Context

Pay-N-Save was a commercial drug and retail store in the Lacey area during the 70s; various corporate buyouts led to it being renamed as Payless Drugs and then Rite-Aid Drugs. The original store appears to have been at 691 Sleater-Kinney RD SE and another branch was later opened at 8230 Martin Way. In 1973, Darwin was the manager of the Lacey store.
