Paul was the son of Shirley Dziedzic, who was on the first Board of Directors for the Lacey Historical Society (and became President) and who also was involved in the St. Martin's Women's Club and an early member of the Lacey Planning Commission. Paul himself was a former Special Assistant to the Governor on Substance Abuse Issues and a former Director of the Washington Department of Services for the Blind before becoming a staff member of the Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation at UW.Made/Created
